Our precision paper drills can process thin and, as a rule, stacked materials such as paper, cardboard, film, leather, fabric or rubber. Manufactured from high-quality special steel, the paper drills are available with various surface coatings, making them ideally suited for drilling a wide variety of materials. Our product range includes titanium, Teflon, Top and Topslide drills. Choosing the right drill grade and regularly resharpening the drills guarantee a long service life and durability. We would be happy to advise you on this.

Standard paper drills

Manufactured from high-quality special steel and ideally suited for drilling offset and photocopying paper.

Teflon paper drills

Made from high-quality special steel with a Teflon coating. Particularly suitable for drilling plastics, films and rubber. The coating provides greater lubricity, thereby reducing the tendency for material to stick to the drill bit.

Titanium paper drills

Made from high-quality special steel with a titanium coating. Particularly suitable for drilling plastics, films and coated materials. The coating reduces the tendency for material to stick to the drill bit. This results in a service life up to three times longer.

Top paper drills

Made from high-quality special steel with a tungsten carbide detonation coating. Particularly suitable for drilling offset and photocopying paper as well as cardboard. The extreme hardness of the surface reduces wear and results in a service life that is 3 to 4 times longer.

Topslide paper drills

Topslide paper drills made from high-quality special steel with a Teflon-infused tungsten carbide detonation coating. Particularly suitable for drilling coated papers and cardboard. The extreme hardness results in lower wear whilst simultaneously reducing sliding friction and heat build-up.

Drill bit sharpener, Model 148

For manual operation, with carbide-tipped blades.

For re-sharpening paper drills with diameters from 3.0 to 20.0 mm.

Accessories:
1 hand crank for drills with a diameter of 3.0–8.5 mm (shaft diameter 11 mm)
1 hand crank for drills from 9.0 to 14.5 mm in diameter (shaft diameter 16 mm)
1 hand crank for drills from 15.0 – 20.0 mm Ø (shank Ø 24 mm)

A guide sleeve is required for each diameter to clamp the drill bit. This guide sleeve ensures that the drill bit, clamped in the hand crank and clamping sleeve, is precisely centred.
The cutting edge of the clamped paper drill bit is sharpened using a Widia sharpening tool by turning the hand crank.
