Useful information

Almost every day, every consumer in industrialised countries comes into contact with an object in the manufacture of which one of our machines has played a part. This begins at breakfast with a knife whose handle is riveted, continues in the car, where clutch and brake linings as well as shielding parts are riveted, continues at the workplace, where there is a ring binder for notes whose ring holes were drilled with paper drills – just like the holes in the calendar hanging on the wall – and extends to the filing of correspondence, which is organised in a ring binder or a letter folder. Whether it’s toilet roll holders, springform tins, music stands, grease guns, school satchels or ski boots; riveting technology is used everywhere. When travelling on holiday, your suitcase gets its strength from hang rivets. And the hole in the label of a garment you buy whilst on holiday may well have been punched by a hang machine too.

Nevertheless, the technology – that is, what lies behind these machines – remains largely unknown. We aim to change that on the following pages. There, you can find out everything about our machines and systems, how they work and what is processed on them.
