Precision paper drill bits

Produced from high quality special steel, guaranteed high durability and a long service life. Different qualities guarantee best results when drilling paper, cardboard or foils. For drilling coated papers, plastics, foils and rubber, we recommend the use of a Hang paper drill with infinitely variable drill speed and stroke speed, as well as drill cooling and drill lubrication.
Our development department is always up to date with the latest paper drilling technology. Our state-of-the-art measurement equipment supplies us with valuable results, with which to select optimum cutting speeds. Parameters such as drilling force, heating-up and wear provide us with the foundations upon which to advise our customers on their drill-type selection.

Standard paper drill bits

Made from high quality special steel and ideally suited to drilling offset and copier paper.

Teflon paper drill bits

Manufactured from high quality special steel with Teflon coating. Particularly suited to drilling plastics, films and rubber. The coating results in lower friction and this in turn reduces the tendency to stick at the drill bit.

Titanium paper drill bits

Manufactured from high quality special steel with titanium coating. Particularly suited to drilling plastics, films and coated materials. The coating results in a reduced tendency to stick at the drill bit. This leads to 3 times the durability.

Top paper drill bits

From high quality special steel with tungsten carbide detonation coating. Particularly suited to drilling offset and copier paper as well as paperboard. The extreme hardness of the outer surface reduces the wear and leads to a 3-4 fold increase in service life.

Topslide paper drill bits

Topslide paper drill bits made from high quality special steel with Teflon intermingled with tungsten carbide detonation coating. Particularly suited to drilling coated papers as well as paperboard. The extreme hardness leads to reduced wear with simultaneously reduced kinetic friction and heat generation.

We recommend paper drill bits with special surface coatings for processing different materials. The following table gives you an overview:
